Andover Museum is a great place for the whole family to enjoy. Housed in a Georgian town house built in the 1750s, the museum tells the story of the town and its surrounding area from prehistoric times to the present day.
Inside you’ll discover archaeological finds including a Bronze Age hoard and Saxon grave items. You can see a rare medieval ivory figurine of the Virgin and Child and learn about the shocking true story of the 1846 Andover Workhouse scandal. The museum runs an exciting programme of temporary exhibitions, including art, craft, photography, history and more.
