The Angel is a fabulous, historic coaching inn, right in the centre of Andover.
The Pub was formerly known as the College Inn and was partially burnt down during the great fire of Andover in 1435. King James II enjoyed a meal with George of Denmark and Grand Duke of Ormonde when retreating from William of Orange in 1688.
It is a Grade II listed and believed to be one of the oldest Pubs in the country. The Pub is proud of its history and there are signs detailing this. Internally the Pub benefits from two main trading areas and give the ability to offer a small, traditional Pub menu.
