Ugly Duckling is run by Andover Mind, a local mental health charity in Hampshire and is a non-profit furniture recycling project. The project aims to upcycle and reuse donated furniture as well as make new items from donated wood and take on customer commissions.

The Ugly Duckling team is made up of volunteers sharing their skills and clients who gain a sense of purpose and improved self-esteem.
