Andover Rocks raises money for music intervention in adult mental health. Since its inception, Rocks has been able to buy recording equipment for use at The Junction, provide a music therapist to work with the community mental health team; run music sessions for a local postnatal group, provide guitar lessons with Stringbrokers and run drumming sessions within local charities.
Rocks are growing year by year, with over 200 performers present at the last live event in September 2022, entertaining many with their vast array of talent. The music ranges in genre from Jazz, Folk, Acoustic, Full bands, Art sessions, and therapeutic alternatives such as a gong bath and meditation.
The event is free to attend but donations will be appreciated.
