Pop along to Vigo Recreation Ground for the Andover Summer Fayre.

There will be hot/cold food, beer and pimms tent, tea and cake tent, alcohol and non-alcohol tombola, raffle with £500 1st prize, bric-a-brac, toys, books, jumble, flowers and plants stalls, and win a prize activities like Splat the Rat, Lucky Dip, Dunking Stool, and Welly Wanging – all the essential ingredients of a traditional Fayre. Miniature ride-on train, donkey rides, archery on Common Acre, animal petting farm and brass bands will all add to the flavour – fingers crossed on the bands as they are proving elusive!

There will be an events arena packed full of exciting events such as traditional children/adult events like sack races, egg and spoon and tug of war, amazing birds of prey displays, blood curdling medieval military fighting, cultural dance groups, and of course, music provided by our very own Love Andover Radio.

In addition to providing a Fayre that residents and visitors can enjoy, the plan is also to use the Fayre to raise funds for improvements in Andover and surrounding Villages, and to support local causes. Local businesses, community groups and volunteers can take part in and contribute towards the success of the Fayre.
