How do we end polio? We hear you ask
Since 1989 Rotary have been raising money to vaccinate children across the world.

The nurses go into an Enclave or Ghetto and the kids come running out. They are given a sugar lump with the Polio Vaccine and then they dip their finger into a purple dye.
Later they come back to the area and all the kids and people have changed. The kids come out and look he has a ‘purple ‘pinky’ so OK The others have a sugar lump and vaccine and dip the finger.

So easy but last year there were still just FOUR cases of wild Polio across the world. We need money to keep vaccinating for another three years after the number of cases gets to NIL
