Half Term Holiday Whats On
WHAT’S ON IN TOWN THIS HALLOWEEN HALF TERM
Half term came so quickly this year, but we’ve flown around on our broomsticks and caught up with what’s going on, ready to let you know what spooky treats are available for your little monsters to enjoy for the remainder of the half term holidays!!
If you’ve got young people who are complaining about being bored but want to hang out with their friends somewhere warm, fun and cool, get them to head down to ACE YOUTH drop in down at The Chantry Centre they’ve got you covered! There are also some event days/trips. Check their Facebook page for more information.
Andover Library, have a crafting session organised for Wednesday morning, along with all their usual activities that they run for families. More information can be found here:
Chapel Arts Studios have created a fabulous immersive art experience, pop along to the Funderdome exhibition at their Studios near St Mary’s Church and then walk back down to CAS Community, 65 The High Street and create your own masterpiece inspired by the art you have seen there. Then on Saturday grab a paintbrush and unleash your creativity, with radiant UV lighting to illuminate the space and bring your artworks to life inspired by Halloween and Day of the Dead.
Pop along to the Andover Museum and join in the pumpkin trail between Thurs – Sunday, and pop in again on Saturday night for their now legendary Museum By Torchlight for some spooky goings on!!
We are really excited to be running our third Town Centre Andover Halloween Hunt along with Test Valley Borough Council. This year has an added twist. You will be able to pick up an item at each of those businesses that are taking part (at last count its around 30!!) and come back to our InAndover gazebo and make your Halloween wreath and collect our sweet prize! Listen to some fabulous live music too! We’ve got a scarily great line up for you…
Once you’ve taken part in these activities on Saturday, pop along to the White Hart to boogie on down to their fancy dress Halloween party where lots of prizes can be won! Then why not stay for Halloween Bingo from 7pm
If you want to run away from the spooks this weekend, you could join the Andover Trail Events and run a half marathon….. from the High Street and out round the villages around the town. www.inandover.co.uk/events/andover-half-marathon/
The event we are most excited about is the Town Centre Trick or Treat Party We love collaborating with Andover Community Events and Andover Radio to create this event for the Town Centre. Creating a super fun and safe area for families to come and trick or treat in and around the Night Market and town centre businesses – your baskets will be full with sweet treats!! With a pumpkin competition, fancy dress and disco on top, what’s not to love?!
