UnderEarth – Exhibition
Be immersed UNDEREARTH in this multi-sensory digital exhibition that blends augmented reality with animation, creative coding and sound. Dare to stare at the extraordinary things that live where tree roots linger and nematodes dream.
Designed and curated by artist, Katt Grover, and inspired by Harmony Woods, the exhibition tells the story of life below the ground through the digital art of pupils from Portway and Vigo Primary Schools.
Free, No booking required
The sound art for the exhibition is a sound bath by Naomi Hurst from Doda Yoga (Insta: @dodayoga website: www.dodayoga.co.uk) and was recorded live in the chapel. Naomi uses a variety of instruments from around the world including crystal singing bowls, gongs and chimes.
Some of the art created during the free drop-in art workshop ‘A Love Letter to the Earth’ will also feature in the exhibition.
Mini-exhibitions will be held at each of the participating schools.
