We Are All Stranger Artists

Families are encouraged to pop in to Andover Library to engage directly with the artist in residence – Dr Laurence Dubé-Rushby.  The theme is ‘We Are All Stranger-Artists’ and there will be an opportunity to create items through mixed-media performances, mask-making, and printmaking activities.

The public are invited to share/write/stitch/draw/print stories/words that relate to emotions that will be presented on cards. Alongside this open activity, the artist, Laurence Rushby, will be stitching selected words, shapes and colours onto her large dress.

A mask-making demonstration is also planned during this time. People will be able to view the following day on Saturday 2nd November during the official workshop.
