Get ready for a summer packed with time-travelling adventures, at 10 museums all across Hampshire! Step into history and explore a different era each week as you train to become an official Time Detective Agent. Take part in free family trails, hands-on crafts, and exciting challenges designed for curious minds of all ages! Your Time Travel Mission Schedule (Check individual venue opening days in advance) Weeks 1 & 2: Ancient History Monday 20 July – Sunday 2 August Weeks 3 & 4: Medieval History Monday 3 August – Sunday 16 August Weeks 5 & 6: Modern History Monday 17 August – Sunday 30 August Become a Time Detective! Start your journey by completing your first activity and receive your very own TDA Trainee ID Card Earn Mission Complete stickers at any participating venue Collect 4 stickers to unlock an exclusive Time Detective Agency badge! Andover has regular Town markets that happen on a Thursday and a Saturday with our high street, filled with a range of stalls offering, fruit and veg, a butcher's van, fresh eggs, a pet stall, fresh cakes and pastries, clothes, rugs,…to name just a few. A compact and bustling town centre with a very pleasant pedestrian environment containing an array of specialist independent retailers. The Markets are a perfect opportunity to experience all Andover and Test Valley has to offer.

Autumn Wedding Fair 2026
Andover Autumn Wedding Fair 2026. Celebrate Local Love: Wedding Fair at Andover Guildhall – Sunday 4th October 2026 Andover is blessed with a wealth of independent businesses ready to make your wedding day as unique and individual as you are. From ceremony and reception venues to accommodation, jewellery, styling, catering, cakes, favours, and much more. Everything you need to plan a beautiful wedding can be found right on Andover’s high street. To showcase this incredible local talent, a Wedding Fair will be held at various locations throughout the Chantry Centre on Sunday 4th October2026, from 11am to 3pm. The fair will feature many local wedding businesses hosting stalls inside the former o2 unit, the triangle and the indoor garden allowing for an even broader range of inspiration and expertise. Paula Grant of Wessex Spirits highlights what makes Andover such a special wedding destination: “Andover is centred around a classic high street with distinct Georgian charm, featuring well-preserved architecture characterised by elegant, symmetrical façades, sash windows and historic coaching inns. Andover’s Haunting History Tour
Andover’s a Ghost Town… Well, Yes, It Is! Join us this Halloween for a spine-tingling journey through Andover’s haunted past! 📅 Friday 30 October 2026 📍 Meet: At the front of The White Hart, Bridge Street 🕗 Tour starts promptly at your chosen time of either 6:30pm / 8:00pm / 9:30pm ⏱️ Duration: Approximately 60 minutes This is a guided walking tour, so please wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather. The majority of the tour is largely accessible but there will be an opportunity to access some rooms upstairs. This is not compulsory and can be amended so you don’t miss out on the stories. Please email events@andoverbid.org.uk if you have any accessibility questions. What’s Included On arrival, you’ll receive: A wristband for the event. A drinks voucher, redeemable at any of the venues visited during the tour. Each venue offers a selection of drinks, including both alcoholic and soft drink options. Please note: As alcohol can be included in your ticket, all ticket holders must be aged 18 or over and carry valid photo ID.
